Located in a quiet spot in the heart of Betws-y-Coed, this bunkhouse offers convenient access to the village center and ample parking options. the rooms are comfortable, with wooden bunk beds and the kitchen is spacious with a good selection of facilities. the staff is friendly and there are plenty of local activities and trails to explore nearby. the breakfast included is tasty and the bar offers a range of local ales. the location is ideal for mountain biking enthusiasts, with secure bike storage available.

Shower facilities are limited and may become crowded during busy periods.

The location of the hotel was great, with easy access to nearby attractions and activities. The staff were friendly and helpful, offering assistance when needed. the homemade pizzas served at the bar were delicious and a highlight of the stay.

The cleanliness of the room and common areas left much to be desired. The floors were dirty and in need of a thorough cleaning, and the kitchen had an overflowing bin and a milk spill in the fridge.

had an amazing valintines day getaway in Betws-y-Coed. The Vagabond Bunkhouse was even better than before! Neil, the host, went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. The room was spacious with a great view, and Leon's breakfasts were top-notch. Highly recommend and will definitely return!

    No hooks in shower cubicles.

This hotel is a great find for backpackers on a budget. The value for money is excellent, with affordable prices for a comfortable stay. The staff are friendly and helpful, ensuring that guests have a pleasant experience. The location is perfect, tucked away in a quiet spot in Betws-y-Coed, but still close to everything. You can enjoy the peaceful sound of the nearby waterfall while staying just a short distance from the village with its pubs and restaurants.

All was alright, nothing that needs improvement.

If you're seeking for great value and friendly staff, this hostel is the one to go to in north Wales. Its location is great, not far from the village centre and surrounded by stunning mountainous views. You can climb your first summit and take a well-deserved drink at one of the local pubs only a short walk away. Even though the rooms might be a bit basic, they have everything needed for a comfortable stay, including a sink, a lamp for every bed, and comfy mattresses. the staff is always ready to help, and the breakfast is delicious. But beware that the bathrooms may be shared and a bit crowded.

Gorgeous location, nestled next to rushing stream. Large and spacious bunk rooms with warm and comfortable beds. Close to village with pubs and restaurants. Beautiful surroundings, perfect for swimming and walks. Close driving distance to waterfalls, lakes, and hiking spots. Lovely and helpful staff. Good and well-equipped room. Amazing pizzas and IPA on tap

Didn't dislike anything about the property.

This hotel in Snowdonia provided excellent value for money. The prices for the evening meals were very reasonable, with a range of delicious options to choose from. The staff were friendly and accommodating, allowing us to check in early after a tiring challenge. The location of the hotel was perfect - tucked away in a quiet spot in Betws-y-Coed, with a beautiful waterfall nearby and still within easy walking distance of the town center. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with six cozy wooden bunk beds and a great view. A highlight for me was the included breakfast, served at a convenient 8:30 am, providing a hearty start to the day.

All was fine, no improvements needed.

We had a fantastic stay in this hotel. Best aspects were parking, location on transport, breakfast, and staff. We had no trouble parking our car, and it was very easy to get to the hotel from the train station by walking. The hotel is also located centrally for all of the trails in the area, and it was by a beautiful river. Breakfast was tasty and hearty, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

    Nothing, all excellent.

I recently took a weekend walking trip and found the accommodation to be excellent value for money. The staff were very attentive and accommodating, particularly with our dietary restrictions. The location was perfect, close to amenities and with the ambient sound of the river outside our room. Best of all, the pizzas were delicious and the bar was really cozy, a great place to relax after a long day of walking.

Our stay was not entirely problem-free. We had a leaky tap in the room that was very noisy, but even after reporting it to the staff, the issue was not fully resolved.

This hotel offers great value for money with its affordable prices and attention to detail. The location is superb, tucked away in a quiet spot in Betws-y-Coed, with the soothing sound of a waterfall next to it. The service provided by the staff is top-notch, making you feel right at home. The basic amenities are well-maintained, and the rooms with bunk beds are cozy and comfortable, some even offering a nice view. I particularly appreciated the thoughtfulness of having a designated space for drying wet clothes, along with a great view. Additionally, having breakfast included at 8:30 am was a convenient perk.
